ECOGROUP USA WELCOMES CONRAD RONCATI
“Saving Lives is Our Goal and Passion,” Gregory Shiffner, CEO of EcoGroup USA
Eatontown, NJ / Press Release / June 4, 2021 / ECOGROUP USA, CORP. (ECG) (“ECG” or the “Company”) —
EcoGroup USA, a diversified IAQ company that specializes in innovative and emerging EPA registered products, including patented organic antimicrobial technologies manufactured in the U.S., is pleased to announce the appointment of Conrad Roncati to the Executive Advisory Board effective April 22, 2021.
Mr. Roncati currently serves at the CEO, RA, and Principal of Architectura, a New York and New-Jersey-based architecture firm. Aside from designing some of the largest real-estate and commercial projects in the country, he also owns multiple commercial entertainment and hospitality properties of his own, and has a strong background in architectural design, construction, sustainable design, and the LEED rating system for buildings.
“I have known and worked with Mr. Roncati for many years in commercial development and am excited to bring him on board for the implementation of our indoor air quality monitoring and management system, ECOSENSE Platforms, which will create today’s Smart Healthy Buildings,” said EcoGroup USA CEO Gregory A. Shiffner. “His extremely experienced background and continuous implementation of cutting-edge technologies geared around energy management and sustainability are now enhanced by his proactive approach of embracing the required changes and needs for IAQ and health management systems.”
While there are currently no federal regulations or standards for indoor air quality, many states and municipalities are shifting towards implementing IAQ programs that building owners and commercial property owners will need to abide by. Key players from organizations and universities in the United States are currently pushing the World Health Organization to develop a set of such standards at the federal level.
“The emerging concept of ‘building green’ to improve construction quality and quality of life for occupants is encouraging features such as airtight construction, which may inadvertently contribute to poor indoor air quality,” Mr. Shiffner added. “Poor air quality can lead to greater absenteeism, aggravation of respiratory illnesses, decreased attention, and reduction in employee productivity. Elevated levels of CO2 in an office building or poorly-ventilated meeting room can make workers feel tired and foggy, which can impact decision-making capabilities.”
“One of the most exciting aspects of the incredible advancements at EcoGroup USA is to have this unique network of experts in the many aspects of building sciences available,” noted Conrad Roncati, RA. “The breadth of knowledge of the professional staff extraordinary, and I am looking forward to a closer interaction with this talented group of individuals and the Executive Advisory Board keeping the Company on the cutting edge of technological research and development followed by immediate building implementation.”
