EcoGroup USA has announced the proposal of an Indoor Air Quality Risk Mitigation Summit that will take place in the late spring of 2021 in Nassau, Bahamas, where evidence-based solutions to the challenges currently faced by public and private sectors shut down due to the pandemic will be presented.

CEO of EcoGroup USA Gregory Shiffner said, “We believe promoting the implementation of public health & safety measures designed to mitigate SARS CoV-2 transmission and other microbial threats will increase confidence and encourage tourism from all over the world, including the United States, identifying the nearby Caribbean nations as safe places to visit.”

The Summit is intended to bring professionals from the private sector, government officials, and industry experts together for three days in a Bahamian resort for a symposium-style event that will address microbial threats and conditions, including the transmission of SARS-CoV-2, which causes the virus Covid-19, which is plaguing indoor environments. It will be a collaborative forum for the articulation of the re-opening challenges that are confronting all Caribbean entities, including tourism.

EcoGroup USA’s team of subject matter experts and industry partners will present evidence-based surface and indoor air antimicrobial technology that is designed to help businesses and governments return to work, play & worship. The goal of the Summit is to provide attendees with the knowledge, confidence, tools, and protocols necessary to achieve safe and healthy indoor environments for their respective organizations.

Shiffner added, “I am honored to bring to the lead of this summit a longtime friend, Dr. Azuka Anyiam, who has dedicated his career to bringing sustainable solutions and business to Africa and the Caribbean. As former president of the African Caribbean Business Council, his valued relationships with Ambassadors and Prime Ministers will help the success of this extremely proactive summit.”
