“Saving Lives is Our Goal and Passion”, Gregory Shiffner, CEO of EcoGroup USA

Staten Island, NY / Press Release / May 27, 2021 / ECOGROUP USA, CORP.  (ECG) (“ECG” or the “Company —

EcoGroup USA, a diversified IAQ company that specializes in innovative and emerging EPA registered products, including patented organic antimicrobial technologies manufactured in the US, is proud to announce its sponsorship of Great Kills Little League in Staten Island, NY.

America’s pastimes have been dramatically transformed by the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic,” said EcoGroup USA CEO Gregory A. Shiffner. “As avid supporters of the sports and athletics industry, we are excited to launch surface and air disinfection initiatives that allow our young athletes, trainers, and coaches along with parents and fans to enjoy the comfort of getting back to important sports-related activities.”

Athletes are disproportionally affected by poor air quality because of their higher rate of breathing during exercise,” Mr. Shiffner added. “Poor air quality can lead to inaccurate passes and incorrect calls. Our multi-stage IAQ system, ECOSENSE Platforms, is today’s only multifaceted platform that combines multiple stages of filtration, ultraviolet germicidal irradiation, and real-time monitoring and data collection to provide players and fans with good indoor air quality.

“Built upon today’s best practices, our sensors collect, track, and report the status of your air so that businesses, including event venues such as arenas, ballparks, stadiums, and gyms, can set a new standard and show fans and athletes that they care about their health.

According to their website, Great Kills Little League is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball.”

Despite the challenge of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Great Kills Little League went on to enjoy a full season of fun and safety, which included winning their first championship in over ten years. The organization went on to compete at the District Level and went undefeated, winning the 2020 District 24 Championship.
